Instead, I like to sprinkle little holiday themed games and activities throughout a few weeks surrounding the holiday. Not only does it build the anticipation and excitement, but it means you can be less stressed on the day of as you enjoy the holiday for more than just 24 hours.
This Halloween Find and Match Game is an ideal movement game to build up some Halloween anticipation. It allows children to move, match, and play in the theme of Halloween without being freaked out from all the spookiness that comes with the season.

How To Play
With such a simple set up, Halloween Find and Match is quick and easy to pull out anytime you need a movement encourage game.

1.Print the set of find and match cards you want to use. There are three: ghosts, pumpkins, and witch hats. All three sets come in both letters and numbers.
2. Cut out the shapes on one of the match pages and hide them around the house.
3. Your player moves around the house to find one shape at a time.
4. He brings back that letter or number to the second page and matches it up.
5. Continue finding and matching until all the matches have been found.
6. Optional: Glue the numbers/letters in place on the main page.
