Get the kids moving around the house while practicing their letters and numbers in this Valentine’s Day find and match game. Easy to set up and fun to play again and again.
Any time I give the kids a game where they get to move around the house hunting for something, they are in with wide, starry eyes.
Games like hide and seek, Post-It hunts, and this style of find and match game are always a hit.
I love that we can play this style of game over and over again as it is so easy to set up, has simple rules to follow, and can be customized to the different abilitiy levels of your children.

Not only does this game get the kids moving inside (not always an easy thing to do safely), but it lets them practice recognizing their letters and numbers. For my literacy-loving 6 year old and soon-to-be kindergartener, these skills are always important to work in through fun games.
With this game players can practice skills like:
- Letter recognition
- Number recognition
- Matching
- Spatial awareness
- Gluing
