Get moving this winter with Winter Movement Bingo, an indoor activity for kids that is easy to set up, fun to play, and encourages creative movements. Just print your bingo cards and you are ready to play!
One of the most played games in our house is Movement Bingo. Our four year old absolutely loves it and always asks to play it.
With the winter days being shorter and colder, we are inside so much more. I am always on the hunt for easy to do activities that get the kids moving and this Winter Movement Bingo covers those bases. The kids absolutely love acting out the various cards in lots of different creative ways.
Another part of Winter Movement Bingo I love is how the kids connect the actions they have done outside to the ones we are mimicking inside. They like to pause the game to tell stories about the time they shoveled the driveway with Dad, the afternoon sledding with Mom at the “big hill”, and that one time we made hot chocolate bombs and they got to have two whole cup fulls.

How To Play
To get ready to play, just print the call cards (pages 2 & 3) and as many bingo cards as you need. There are 10 total cards.
Then, simply cut out the call cards and bingo cards. It is optional to laminate your bingo cards and call cards, but higly recommended.
When you are ready for play:
- Each player gets a bingo card.
- Place call cards face down in a pile.
- Pick a call card and show it to everyone so they can visually match it.
- If a player has that move on her board, she puts a spot marker on it. Then act out the movement!
- Continue to play until someone has 5 across, down, or diagonal and calls out, “Bingo!”
- Play again! You can opt to play different variations of the game like 4 corners, black out, plus sign, or letter X.

You are responsible for printing and cutting your own cards to use for play.
Supplies Needed
Printing your bingo cards is super simple in terms of supplies. All you need is:
- 7-12 pages of cardstock. The number depends on if you print your bingo cards full page or half page. I personally prefer the half page option, but do what works best for you and your needs.
- Color printer
- Scissors or paper cutter
- Laminator and laminating pages (optional, but highly recommended so you can play again and again)
To set up play for Winter Movement Bingo, you will need some kind of spot markers. I like to use small gems that are easy for little fingers to pick up off a table.
Winter Movement Bingo makes those colder winter days so much more fun as you get a movement break you can easily do indoors with your kids. Once you have your printable activity, you can play again and again as your kids perfect their body movements for each square.
