Put making an obstacle course into your kids’ hands with these DIY Obstacle Course Cards For Kids. The kids get to be creative and active in this do it yourself style activity.
What is it about an obstale course that is just so much fun?
Seriously, no matter what age you are, it seems like everyone loves the challenge of crawling, climbing, balancing, and challening themselves as they move from activity to activity.
My three are always creating obstacle courses in the house during the long winter months, so when we finally get to go outside, I love giving them these DIY Obstacle Course Cards For Kids so they can create their own courses with our outdoor equipment.
I absolutely love the amount of discussion that happens between the kids when they flip the three cards for the next obstacle. They get to put their heads together and share their visions for how a specific obstacle should be built.
Not only are we getting in some movement, but they get to practice their working together for a shared vision skills. That is not always an easy task.
