How To Set Up Your Printable Charades Game

It really is as simple as print, cut, and play!

To play:

1. Print the 27 Thankgivings Charades For Kids cards spread across 3 pages.

2. Cut out each card, or as many as you prefer to use. With younger kids, having less cards out can feel more manageable to them.

3. Laminate your cards. I suggest laminating your cards to keep them clean and dry. Plus you can save them for next year!

How Play Thanksgiving Charades

Unlike regular charades where you are acting out movies, shows, and books, in Thanksgiving Charades, you are acting out various aspects of Thanksgiving.

Put the cards face down in a pile, or fold them into a bowl
Player 1 picks a card without showing anyone.
Player 1 acts out what is on the card. Everyone else has to guess what the card says based on Player 1’s silent actions.

To advance the game, you can play in teams, set a timer for how long it takes to guess, or keep score. Make these changes based on your players ages and what they can handle right now. Sometimes just making the motions and guesses is plenty for them to have fun without stress.
