The way we play this Fall Pictionary For Kids printable game brings me that same joy. We get to gather around the table, all concentrating on our drawings, and then taking turns guessing what each other drew.

How Prep This Printable Pictionary Game

Between the skills being learned, the joy of drawing, and the game time, this game is extremely easy to prep.

All you have to do is print the two pages of drawing cards, cut them out (a great activity for little hands to work on scissor skills), gather your drawing supplies, and you are ready to play!

There is a score card you can choose to print and use if you want to make the game more competitive. Additionally, you can grab a kitchen timer for the extra sense of urgency.

I always to choose to laminate the drawing cards so I can use them again and again without stress of them getting messy at the table or ripped somehow.

Inclusive Way To Play Fall Pictionary

A few issues we have run into in the past with pictionary is that the non-drawing players get bored, the drawing player feels rushed, and those guessing do not have a frame of reference or the vocabulary for what the drawing could possibly be.

These issues created a lot of problems during the game and it was just not enjoyable for anyone.

I revamped the rules a bit and it works so so well, especially with younger players. Here is how we play:

1. Each player picks a drawing card at the same time and keeps it secret.

2.All together, everyone draws their own image.

3. Once all players are done drawing, go around the table one at a time to show your work and have everyone guess what was drawn.

This version of the game made it so much fun for all the players and gave everyone an equal chance to draw, guess, and feel included without stress.
